A Brief History.

The Warriors have a long-standing history in Rossland and have been around since the mid-1950s when they competed in the Western International Hockey League. The Warriors won the WIHL League title in the 1957-58 season. Prior to this the team was called the Rossland Miners and records date back to as early as 1923, proving a long-standing history of hockey in Rossland.

The Warriors previously completed as a Junior B team in the KIJHL from 1972 until they folded 27 years later in 1999. Since then the Warriors have operated as a Canadian Senior ice hockey team playing an independent schedule under the supervision of the BC Amateur Hockey Association. The Warriors won the Coy Cup back in 2006/07 and are looking to reclaim the title!

Interested in a sponsorship with the Rossland Warriors? We offer a wide range of sponsorship opportunities from Game Night Sponsors to Season Sponsorship.

The Warriors are expected to host 6-8 season games and possibly 2-4 playoff games per season. Sponsorship opportunities are limited and fill up quickly. Click HERE for more details.

Warriors 2023/24 Schedule.

Tickets are only $10 and are free for children under 8! Tickets are available on game nights at the Rossland Arena front door until capacity is reached. Pre-sale tickets are available from RE\MAX All Pro Realty Rossland, Ferraro Foods Rossland, and Rossland Beer Company.

Tickets are non-refundable and only available for cash purchase. Children 8 and under do not need to present a ticket for entry.
